I do believe that Saddam is a serious threat that needs to be removed... what I take exception with is your assertion that the people of Iraq love Saddam therfore deserve no sympathy. A: The people of Iraq are ruled by a dictator... they are told what to think... what to say... B: Also... think about WHY arabs might hate America... "They hate our freedoms" as Shrubya likes to say? Uh... mabye they find us a bit hypocritical... U.S... the guardians of democracy and freedom... supporting Saudi Arabia... a monarchy that has horded the vast wealth of its oil profits and left much of the population in poverty... currently supporting Pakistan... ran by a military dictator... supported Saddam Hussein in the past... we all know what kind of nice guy he is... supporting Israel... whom the arabs regard as an oppressive apartheid state...
